Susquehanna Algothon: Algorithmic Trading Hackathon Registration

✨Applications closing on Friday ✨ Susquehanna's Algothon is an algorithmic trading hackathon, consisting of workshops, followed by an opportunity to design and build data-driven trading algorithms using modelling and quant techniques. Test your skill set and compete for a cash prize! 🖐️Registration · You can register in teams of 2-4 OR as an individual. Individual’s will be placed in a team · All students (domestic or international) attending any Australian or New Zealand university are welcome to participate. Top teams will be flown and hosted in Sydney for the Finals. 🏆Prizes 1ST PLACE $5,000 per person 2ND PLACE $2,500 per person 3RD PLACE $1,000 per person ⭐ Event Format LEARN Prep: The Python workshop is an educational session designed to introduce you to the skills necessary for Algothon COMPETE Round 1: Practise - The first data set does not count towards your final score. This round will focus on building out a fundamental strategy and testing it. At the Mid Competition update, you'll be able to see how you performed against others. Round 2: Qualifiers – The second dataset will be released after the interim update. Teams will have roughly two weeks to work on this and submit their final algorithm. The top teams will be invited to the finals. Round 3: Finalist Set - The finalists will work on this data set and will be invited to the attend the Susquehanna office to defend their algorithms on 7 August! Both the algorithm performance and presentations will affect their final score and determine the winner.
